The number of individual members for 2009 /2010 stood at just over 100, with further parish council, amenity society, contractors and professional corporate bodies pushing the total membership to just under 150. The Trust depends largely for its finances on voluntary donations. The largest source of grant aid was supplied by local authorities, but this is no longer the case. A sad reflection of the current economic situation is that the Trust, started by the County Council with full administration, legal and financial support over 40 years ago will receive no more financial support from the County Council.
